No referral. No appointment. No hoops. First time here? Just walk in during business hours and you'll be seen same day — no paperwork maze, no waiting room. We'll take it from there.
-
You can absolutely just walk-in! We have a simple walk-in policy. Just like a getting a table at restaurant, or grocery pick up. No appointment necessary, no referral needed, no jumping through hoops. Show up, fill out a quick intake form, and we’ll get you in to see the Dr as soon as possible. If you prefer to book ahead and skip any wait, you can do that with just a click on the website. Walk-ins are welcome during all regular business hours. Booking online is available if you want to reserve your spot.
-
Your first visit starts with a brief health history and a conversation about what's going on — where you're hurting, how long it's been bothering you, what you've already tried. From there, Dr. Gaskell will do a quick assessment and let you know what he recommends. Most first visits, including the adjustment or acupuncture, are done in under an hour. You'll leave knowing exactly what was done and what to expect next.
-
Just yourself. If you have insurance and want to use it, bring your insurance card. If you're planning to pay out of pocket, no paperwork is needed beyond our intake form, which you can fill out when you arrive. Comfortable clothing is helpful — especially if you're coming in for a back or hip issue — but not required.

What It Costs. Nothing More.
Reassurance Most people have been surprised by a medical bill. We don't do that. What you see is what you pay — no facility fees, no new patient charges, no long term maintenance plan you didn't ask for.
-
A chiropractic adjustment is $75. Acupuncture is also $75. If you'd like to do both in the same visit, we offer a combined rate of $129 — that's a $21 savings. Pricing is the same whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth.
-
Yes, we accept many major insurance plans. Coverage varies depending on your plan and deductible, so we recommend calling your insurance company ahead of time to confirm your chiropractic benefits. Our front desk can also help walk you through what to ask. If you're unsure whether your plan is accepted, just give us a call before you come in. Many patients find our self-pay rates are competitive with or lower than their insurance copay — especially if they haven't met their deductible yet.
-
Yes, we are Medicare credentialed. Medicare covers chiropractic adjustments for specific conditions — most commonly spinal subluxation. Our team can help you understand what your Medicare plan covers and what, if anything, would be out of pocket.
-
Absolutely. Many patients choose to pay our self-pay rate rather than bill insurance — especially if they're mid-deductible, want to avoid paperwork, or simply prefer straightforward pricing. That choice is completely yours and we'll never pressure you either direction. We accept cash, card, and HSA/FSA.
-
An urgent care visit for back pain, neck pain, or a musculoskeletal issue typically runs $150–$280 just to walk in — and that's before any X-rays, tests, or procedures that get billed separately. You'll likely leave with a prescription, not a solution. A RESET adjustment is $75, takes 30 minutes, and addresses the actual problem. No copay surprises, no waiting room, no referral needed. For pain that chiropractic can treat, we're almost always faster, less expensive, and more effective than urgent care.
Chiropractic or acupuncture? What’s better?
Not sure which is right for you? You don't have to figure it out before you walk in. Just tell us what's going on — Dr. Rod and Dr. Chad have nearly 75 years of experience between them and they'll tell you exactly what will help and why.
-
Chiropractic care focuses on the spine and joints. Through targeted adjustments, we restore proper alignment and movement, which takes pressure off nerves and helps the body function the way it's designed to. It's particularly effective for back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and joint issues.
Acupuncture works through a different mechanism — fine needles placed at specific points along the body stimulate the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and promote the body's natural healing response. It's excellent for chronic pain, muscle tension, migraines, nerve pain, and conditions that haven't responded well to other treatments.
Many patients benefit from both, which is why we offer a combined visit rate. -
Most people are surprised by how little they feel. Acupuncture needles are extremely thin — nothing like a shot or a blood draw. You may feel a mild pressure or a brief dull sensation when a needle is placed, which typically fades within seconds. Many patients find the experience deeply relaxing and fall asleep during treatment. If you're nervous about needles, let us know — we'll walk you through what to expect before we start anything.
-
Yes. Chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of healthcare available for musculoskeletal conditions. Our doctors bring over 75 years of combined experience and take a thorough approach to every patient — we assess before we adjust. If we ever feel that chiropractic care isn't the right fit for your specific situation, we'll tell you that directly and point you toward the right provider.
-
That's exactly the kind of question we'll answer together at your visit. Dr. Gaskell will talk with you about your symptoms, history, and goals and give you a straight recommendation. There's no upsell here — if one treatment is what you need, that's what we'll recommend. If both would genuinely help, we'll explain why. Not sure what to book? Just walk in and tell us what's going on. We'll figure it out together.
Who we are.
A little background on the practice (and our 75 year history) and the doctors behind it.

Gaskell Chiropractic has been caring for Sioux City patients since 1978. This year, Dr. Rod Gaskell and Dr. Chad Gaskell are marking 75 years of combined experience with a new name, a new location, and a better way for patients to get the care they need.
RESET Walk-In Chiropractic & Acupuncture was built around one idea: when you're hurting, you shouldn't have to wait three weeks for an appointment or chase down a referral. Show up, get seen, feel better. No membership, no long-term commitment, no pressure.
If you've been a Gaskell Chiropractic patient — Dr. Rod and Dr. Chad are still here. Your records are with us, your care continues, and the only things that changed are the name on the door and the address. Join us at 3230 Stone Park Blvd and we'd love to see you at our new location!
-
RESET is led by Dr. Rod Gaskell and Dr. Chad Gaskell — a father and son team with over 75 years of combined chiropractic experience. That depth of experience means you're not getting a cookie-cutter adjustment. You're getting personal care from providers who have seen thousands of cases and know how to read what your body actually needs.
-
We're still here — just with a new name and a new home. Dr. Rod and Dr. Chad Gaskell are at 3230 Stone Park Blvd, your records made the move with us, and nothing else changed. Same doctors, same care. Walk in anytime.
-
Both. Some patients come in once for an acute issue and never need to come back. Others find that regular chiropractic care is part of how they stay healthy and active — especially athletes, people with physically demanding jobs, or those managing chronic conditions. We'll never push you into a care plan you don't need. After your visit, Dr. Gaskell will give you his honest recommendation and let you decide what makes sense for you.
Still have questions? Just come in.
Walk-ins always welcome - no appointment needed.
